But in Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, private schools are the only schools, and very few parents can afford even the most modest tuition.           In a nation as devastated as Haiti, it is difficult to decide where to begin to offer help. Education is the one gift that multiplies in the sharing and can never be used up. kindergarten student           The Haiti Education Foundation provides scholarships, educational supplies, and other gifts to Haitian children and their communities.
